Revisit the hip-hop rhythm of the 90s with The Pharcyde’s ‘Runnin” video
Produced by the legendary J Dilla, Runnin’ is off of The Pharcyde’s second album, Labcabincalifornia. Released in 1995, the image of the (then) hip-hop quartet rocking bold, yellow suits on the cover of the LP is imprinted on my memory.
The Pharcyde continue to tour and were in London just last month (July 2015), at the 02’s Brooklyn Bowl. Revisit the rhythm of The Pharcyde, below.
