Try to find the name of the new album in Rihanna’s very fitting album artwork

Rihanna – Unapologetic (Album Cover)Today, Rihanna took to Twitter to announce her next studio album will be entitled, Unapologetic. The album is right on cue as her seventh studio album in seven years and the ‘Unapologetic’ artwork is fitting for the album, slated for release on Monday, November 19.

After releasing her new single on, the announcement of Unapologetic silences all speculation that her new album title may revolve around the number ‘7’. This album title fits Rihanna’s persona perfectly and she made sure everyone knew just exactly what it meant to be unapologetic, with her tweet, below.

She recently enjoyed UK chart-topping success with the upcoming album’s lead single, Diamonds. I thought her last album, Talk That Talk, was a fragmented attempt to return to her initial sound but it seems as though she may come close to accomplishing this on new album, Unapologetic.

Diamonds sees Rihanna leave her successful electro-infused pop sound behind and return to a more pure pop sound. The single’s slow and steady instrumental is complemented by the Bajan singer’s distinctive voice as she swaps her overtly sexual lyrics for a more uplifting message.

‘Shine bright like a diamond’ she sings, in her accent, on the infectious hook.

Rihanna says of the single that is still awaiting a visual, ‘it gives me such a great feeling when I listen to it. The lyrics are very hopeful and positive, but it’s about love and the gears are a little different from what people would expect. I’m excited to surprise them sonically.’

Kicking of her Diamonds tour in 2013, the singer also released the ad campaign for her new perfume, Nude, via Twitter last weekend.
