Earlier this month, the Kardashians announced the launch of their Kardashian Kollection in Dorothy Perkins stores. Yesterday we were treated to a sneak preview at the launch of the fashion line that will hit UK stores in November.
Kourtney, Kim and Khloe are the successful owners of fashion chain DASH, and sister-line Kardashian Kollection has already proved very popular in the US. Soon the UK will be able to get their hands on Kardashian-created fashion at affordable high-street prices. The range currently includes women’s clothing, accessories and also homeware.
The ‘Kollection’ will be exclusively available in 250 Dorothy Perkins stores across the nation and online at dorothyperkins.com. Jupi Corporation, the company responsible for the Kardashian Kollection stateside distribution, have said the line ‘will embrace Kim’s glamorous red carpet looks, Kourtney’s more Bohemian chic vibe and Khloe’s rocker style. From timely pieces to fashionably tailored looks, the collection will appeal to all women who love fashion.’
Part of the Arcadia group which is also home to brands Topshop and Miss Selfridge, Dorothy Perkins ‘was one of the first big companies to understand the power of celebrity advertising.’ Arcadia boss, Sir Philip Green has said ‘having reviewed the product, I felt that there was an excellent fit for Dorothy Perkins.”
Taking to Twitter, Kardashian fans have expressed their delight about the new fashion partnership. The sisters have also shared their excitement. On their personal blogs Kim said ‘this is such an exciting time and we can’t wait to head over to the UK later this year to launch the Kollection and visit all of our amazing fans,’ and Kourtney admitted ‘we’ve been wanting to take the Kollection to the UK for a while now, so this is a dream come true.’
The Kardashian Kollection will also launch in 12 other countries across the world, including Turkey, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Saudi Arabia. ‘We’re so happy to finally be able to share the Kollection with our fans in other countries.’
