A wealth of support for the UK rapper who has had all charges dropped
Look What The Cat Dragged In… Back in March, Pappzd confirmed the news that south London rapper Giggs was on remand in Brixton prison awaiting trial on firearms charges. Yesterday, all charges were dropped and it has been confirmed that Giggs has been released from prison.
Not the first time he has been tried for firearms charges, Giggs was represented by Arlette Piercy of 25 Bedford Row, at Woolwich Crown Court. The picture above was tweeted by fellow rapper, Skepta, shortly after the news of Giggs’ release broke.
There has been a wealth of celebrity support for the rapper since his release, from artists including Skepta, Wiley, Black the Ripper, Gunna Dee and Lethal Bizzle. Most notably his brother Joe Grind who remained firmly silent about the situation tweeted:
Giggs was set to release his third studio album When Will It Stop this year, whether that still happens remains to be seen. He has been inactive (on Twitter) since February and today tweeted:
